Filmed and recorded on location in Cumbria Dry Stone Waller uses the process of analog filmmaking to examine the relationship between form, process and notions of craft in British history.
Documentation of the process of dry stone walling dates back 500 years, and survives as the dominant building method in upland areas of Britain, in part due to the collective commitment to keeping what is seen as an important craft alive.
